The BigData & Security (BDS) entity of the Eviden group develops professional servers under the Bull brand for the cloud and big data market on the one hand, and for the scientific computing (or HPC) market on the other…The components and the manufacturing / assembly processes implemented in the servers are subject to constraints & normative requirements for which compliance must be justified.

 

Attached to the product quality and reliability team within the R&D Server Design department, we are recruiting a Product Compliance and Certification Manager who brings together regulatory expertise at server component levels, analysis of compliance with safety and EMC international standards, with the laboratories for the necessary tests to obtain product certifications and the drafting/production of declarations and ad hoc reports.

 

Activities

 

In close collaboration with the Quality and CSR manager, you intervene transversely and closely within servers and supercomputers development projects.

 

Your core missions are:

• In conjunction with mechanical & electronic R&D teams, ensure during the design and internal testing phases that the components used are /will be compatible/compliant to applicable safety/EMC standards and will not lead to reservations during the certification tests campaign and the obtaining of reports/certificates

• Ensure the relationship with the testing laboratories:

o Help project managers to organize test campaigns for finished products

o Consolidation of test reports for finished products

o Be proactive for alternative to a non-compliant component during a test campaign

o Get feedback on EU standards + other countries of the world

• Ensure a technical watch on the (international) standards reference for components / products applicable within the framework of the products developed by Atos.

Decline any new needs if necessary.

• Store /centralize all tests reports, certificates and self- declarations for servers developed by Atos, covering targeted countries for Sale around the world

 

Your subsidiary missions are:

• Assist R&D teams in their tasks related to compliance to European directives such as:

o Ecodesign

o Accessibility

o Any other applicable directives

• Centralize the management of certifications associated with the applicable reference system (eg Rohs / Reach, SCIP database, etc.)

o Use and implementation of internal R&D tools (BOM extraction) and external (Silicon Expert,SCIP,..)

• Define, in coordination with the management team of data archiving tool (PLM windchill), the strategies/methods for filling in the normative information components in the database.

o Set up the necessary tools, if necessary

 

 

Required profile

 

With a baccalaureate +5 degree such as an electronic engineering school or a 3rd university cycle, you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an electric/electronic R&D position in relation to the standards for obtaining product certifications.

• You have knowledge of electronic components such as power supplies, AC/DC converters, passive/active components, etc.

• You are familiar with EMC and Safety standards such as IEC 62368, 61010, 60947, 61000-3-x, 61000- 4-x(EMC and Safety)

• You are familiar with testing activities on electric/electronic products

• Knowledge of certification and regulatory processes for servers/computers is a plus.

• Knowledge of environmental recommendations relating to hazardous substances, electronics and their assembly (WEEE/ROHS/REACH) is a plus

• Knowledge of CE compliance procedures and European directives applicable to electric/electronic products is a plus

• You are rigorous, by demonstrating a good analytical capacity and a good spirit of synthesis.

• For this position, you must have good communication skills and interact transversally with various internal and external interlocutors.

• You have a good command of technical and normative English.
