Job Description:

 

 

The Solution Director is an influential and customer-facing role, whose main focus is to build credibility with the customer, both for the proposed solution and Atos. They will be engaged in high value sophisticated solutions providing vision, direction and management usually to one or more large and sophisticated solution teams resulting in solutions that are compelling, profitable and deliverable. This involves building up an understanding of the stake-holders requirements, defining and improving the solution process and pre-sales processes and evaluating business value; whilst ensuring compliance with the company and, for existing customers, the account technical standards.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Ensure the IT Architecture solution responds to the business requirements of the customers in the most efficient and innovative manner.
  • Their goal is to deliver an architecture that supports the most efficient and secure IT environment meeting a company's business needs.
  • Validates the overall solution and its deliverability in the dimensions of business, technology, services, resources, timeline and costs.
  • Depending on the opportunity, this role can be either Consulting-Led Selling or Tender
  • Response Solutioning: Consulting-Led Sell The Solution Director will in collaboration with Sales team engage with the customer (typically a company IT function) together with their business partners, to define and detail the business and technical context of the current IT, the required business transformation and potential benefits provided both directly and indirectly by the associated technical transformation.
  • Tender Response Solution
  • Work closely together with the Strategic Sales Leader, Engagement Manager and/or the Sales Executive during the bid process.
  • Manage a customer facing team responsible for the service and development of the solution process ensuring continued improvements and reducing cost base.
  • Engaged in the pre-sales lifecycle, developing solutions required in response to customer requirements and also for the identification and solution development of opportunities that will improve the end user experience.
  • Involve in the elements of selling the solution to existing and new name customers.
  • Follow contract award the Solution Director may be required to provide additional governance into the implementation or delivery phases to provide continuity and de-risk the solution deployment.

Education and Certifications:

 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree desired with Technology Focus or equivalent work experience.
  • ITIL certifications or ITIL design process experience a plus.
  • Min of 10 years’ experience in IT Managed Services client pre-sales engagements
