Project Manager

Location: United States

Remote: US Wide

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee infrastructure and network projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex technical projects, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies. Familiarity with the Texas DIR account, as well as MSI tools and processes, is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities: Plan, execute, and finalize infrastructure and network projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. Coordinate the efforts of team members to deliver projects according to plan. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.

Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.

Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.

Track project milestones and deliverables.

Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.

Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in project management, specifically with infrastructure and network projects.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information to a diverse range of stakeholders. Knowledge of the Texas DIR (Department of Information Resources) account and related procedures.

Familiarity with MSI (Managed Services Integration) tools and processes, demonstrating a strong understanding of the operational and technical requirements.

Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products.

Able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is preferred.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Additional Requirements: Must be based in the United States, with a preference for candidates familiar with the Texas business environment.
