Job Description:



The Head of Business Development leads the BDD community, defines strategy to gain new logos, leads development campaigns and builds a deal pipeline

The Head of Business Development is responsible for leading the business development team, defining and executing strategy to ensure profitable growth of Industry revenues, focusing on securing new accounts, doing prospective work focusing on new logos clients. He/she uses internal industry expertise and knowledge to find & qualify new potential opportunities and builds & maintains the relationship with client until the successful handover.



Business enablement



– Focus on new logos



Collaborate with Consulting & Marketing and assist Head of Industry Sales in defining an Industry

     business development strategy, identifying priority sub-industries & targeted customers list to ensure

     short and long term profitable growth

Allocates business development resources to ensure an efficient process of the business

      development strategy & an alignment with the Industry portfolio offering

Demonstrate own’s & Industry Consulting & Marketing teams’ Industry knowledge to find and qualify

     new opportunities on his/her scope

Prospect for potential new clients following the strategy focus defined by Head of Industry sales

     New logos account activation and development campaigns management

Supports BDDs in the sales activation for new accounts:


          – Define business development plan and single sales strategy using support from

             Marketing, Consulting, industry experts and product sales specialists, alliances and


         – Support BDDs in the preparation of development campaigns: initial value proposition,

            definition of sales campaigns & client approach strategy

         – Support BDDs in pre-sales campaign activation including contacts with high-level client partners

        – Mentor the BDD community in prospecting new clients & act as a last point of escalation



People Management



Reskill, recruit and run Business developer community to reach its full order entry potential

Review performance of Business Developers team

Report performance of Business developers on new logo growth to Head of Industry Sales and is

     accountable for it

Define in collaboration with Head of Industry Sales the right incentive strategy for BDD



Minimum Requirements:



  • 4 Year degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years R & S Vertical recent vertical experience
  • 5 years Management experience
  • 8 years Sales in IT validated experience
