Position Title: Pharmacy ERP IT Analyst

Job Description
Responsible for Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Pharmacy Inventory master file updates and maintenance. Develops analytic tools, conversion files and validation reports, Microsoft Access and/or Microsoft Excel. Assures data integrity of pharmacy item additions or changes to software meet all end users' needs and aligns with the Department of Pharmacy's goals and objectives. JOB DUTIES · Work closely with the Department of Pharmacy daily to define, design, build, test, implement and maintain pharmacy workflow automation processing between the clinical inpatient/outpatient pharmacy applications and the Oracle ERP inventory management system including inventory tracking/reporting, re-ordering, and replenishment. · Provide issue resolution and correct wrong entries. · Perform quarterly patch testing. · Maintain Pharmacy Item Master, including deletions, additions, and changes as needed. · Open monthly inventory periods, complete inventory period closing process. · Communication with Pharmacy Oracle Users about updates and outages as needed. · Work with developers and other IT staff on updates and other system changes. · Facilitate Cycle Counts, including quarterly ABC compiles. · Run and prepare Stroger Pharmacy (PHS) monthly Alpha in Formulary format (Item listing report) monthly. · Run and prepare Stroger Pharmacy (PHS) monthly Alpha in Acquisitions format (Item listing report). · Enhancements-liaison between pharmacy and developers, and testing. · Preparing training documents, training, and retraining, i.e., new staff, rollouts, and enhancements, as needed. · Run and prepare monthly stats for PHS pharmacy inventory workload. · Organize and facilitate Monthly Pharmacy Inventory meetings including preparing agenda, sending invites, and running meetings. · Organize and facilitate Ad Hoc meetings, including preparing agenda, sending invites, and running meetings. · Run and prepare bi-annual Historical Usage Reports in June and December for all pharmacy Orgs. · Facilitate Annual Physical Inventory- run, prepare documents, and assist in staff preparation. · Run and prepare Alpha in Acquisitions format (Item listing report) pre-inventory for pharmacies at Blue Island (PHB), Cermak (PHC), Providence (PHP), and Core (PHR). Prepare Physical Inventory count sheets for PHS · Facilitate adding new users as needed. QUALIFICATIONS · Minimum of 5 years hospital pharmacy operations and 340B experience, preferred. · Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Oracle ERP inventory management design, build, test, implement and operate support activities within hospital pharmacy environment (both inpatient and outpatient), preferred. · Previous Oracle or PeopleSoft experience with Pharmacy ERP inventory management implementation and integration preferred. · Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel software functions (including VLookup, Pivot tables, complex Macros, etc.) required. · Advanced level skill in Microsoft Access (for example: modifying default field properties, creating a subform, adding a control button, modifying query criteria and query totals, using conditional formatting and/or viewing data relationships). preferred · Strong analytic and reporting skills and the ability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders to manage a complex program successfully.
EDUCATION · Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience · Pharmacist or Pharmacy technician background required.
