Digital Application Services (DAS) delivers and supports the applications, platforms and digital capabilities that enable effective business operations. It plays a key role in modernising services, improving resilience and ensuring teams have the tools to operate efficiently. Within DAS, the Business Analysis and Customer Experience (BA & CX) team drives technology-enabled change across digital services. Working closely with product, engineering and operational teams, it defines requirements, analyses impacts and supports the delivery of robust, scalable, user-centred solutions, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
We are looking for a strong Technical Business Analyst to work on complex digital and technology change. This role is suited to an experienced analyst who is equally comfortable working with business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, and who can translate business needs into clear, structured and actionable requirements for design, build, test and implementation.
You will take ownership of analysis across the full delivery lifecycle, from discovery and definition through to delivery support and continuous improvement. You will be expected to analyse processes, systems, integrations, APIs, data flows and business rules, and to produce high-quality artefacts that support solution design and delivery. You will work closely with product owners, engineers, architects, testers, delivery managers and operational stakeholders to ensure solutions are feasible, well-defined, traceable and aligned to customer, business and regulatory needs.
Where purpose meets career
- Training & Growth – Be part of an established Business Analysis community with strong ways of working, peer support and real opportunities to build delivery and technical analysis skills. The role also offers exposure to complex digital change, helping candidates grow fast and broaden their experience.
- Variety & Collaboration – This role offers the chance to work across teams, projects and clients, giving candidates broader experience and more variety in their day-to-day work. Alongside the local account team, they are also part of a wider BA and CX practice, with strong collaboration, shared standards and support.
- Impact – Work on services that reach millions of users and deliver outcomes that matter. The scale, complexity and service impact make this a motivating role for candidates who want their analysis to drive meaningful change.

- Translate business needs into clear user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, business rules and supporting artefacts that are ready for technical design, build and test.
- Analyse end-to-end processes, customer journeys, system interactions and operational impacts to identify improvement opportunities and inform solution options.
- Work closely with engineers, architects and solution designers to define system behaviour, integration points, interface requirements, API interactions and technical dependencies.
- Produce and maintain high-quality technical analysis artefacts including process models, data mappings, source-to-target mappings, sequence diagrams, logical flows and traceability documentation.
- Analyse structured and unstructured data to support solution definition, impact assessment, defect investigation and decision-making.
- Support backlog refinement and prioritisation with Product Owners and delivery teams, ensuring requirements are clear, testable, traceable and aligned to business value.
- Assess change impacts across systems, processes, data and teams, identifying risks, assumptions, constraints and dependencies.
