In the international context of a partnership with IBM, our Competency Center Escala team plays a crucial role in supporting Escala's business operations. The team is dedicated to exploring various IBM products based on the Power architecture, deploying them in Proof of Concept (PoC) scenarios, and comparing their features and performance. This enables us to provide our customers with informed advice through technical presentations that support presales activities. We perform demonstrations tailored to customer needs, exploring technologies and products such as OpenShift, PostgreSQL, Ansible, PowerVC, PowerSC, and AI/LLM on Power.

Our laboratory in Échirolles may require assistance for the current system administrator in setting up servers, management consoles, network configurations, and storage solutions for ongoing activities. Part of our operations involves supporting two cycles of software production per year. This includes the OEMization of IBM software media, building and producing our HA solution media, and delivering these with the Angers factory.

The CCE team significantly engaged in exploring new programs and solutions to advise product and project management, helping to anticipate future client needs.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge in the following areas:

Unix (Linux or AIX); Virtualization (Linux/AIX); HA/DR (High Availability/Disaster Recovery); Storage replication; OpenShift technologies.

Database knowledge is highly appreciated.

Presentation and English skills (speaking, reading, writing) are required for customer presentations.
