Senior System Engineer – UAE

Responsibilities 

As a Senior System Engineer – Business Compute & AI, the incumbent will be responsible for managing pre-sales technical & functional support to sales teams, partners, prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. With a proven track record of successful sales support activity, the Systems Engineer will present and articulate the capabilities and values of an Eviden Compute & AI Solution versus that of our competitors. The incumbent will work with Eviden’s Territory Managers, Systems Engineers and Sales Leadership to qualify opportunities and convert leads into successful engagements.

Scope:

• Possess expert competitive knowledge including solutions, technology, and product offerings around 8+ socket systems.
• Expert understanding of sizing in-memory compute databases, like SAP HANA, Oracle, MS SQL and virtualization solutions.
• Perform function of presales and delivery/postsales in the ratio of 60:40.
• Perform an expert level of technical presentations for customers, partners, and potential prospects.
• Own and assist with winning strategic deals and building ongoing customer technical
• Provide input to the Product Management team(s) with input on customer needs/requirements and overall product functionality including identification of competitive gaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (technical field) with 5- 7 years working experience in related field.
• Must be working currently in a System Integrator. Mandatory experience in deploying and configuring 8+ socket systems atleast with Lenovo, xFusion or HPE Superdome systems.
• A proven track record of success in large scale hardware and software builds, installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of 8 socket+ machines.
• Understanding of GPU and accelerator technologies. Knowledge of computer vision platform will be a plus, but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of the underlying infrastructure requirements such as Networking, Storage, and Hardware Optimization.
• Experience with project planning and management, process management and team or project leadership
• Ability to clearly document processes and procedures with a focus on mentoring and sharing knowledge
• Open to travel for training, meetings and to support remote systems is required
