This role requires someone that is from the Public Safety industry with a deep knowledge of Next Generation Core Services\ ESInet, Call Handling\ Call taking, and Data Networking. The Public Safety Pre-Sales Engineer will work shoulder to shoulder with Atos Sales to develop executive relationships with key buyers and influencers in accounts and channel partners. This role requires very strong leadership and inter-personal communications skills.

 

 

Job Description

 

 

  • Support Sales with the closure of NG9-1-1 customer opportunities
  • Partner with Sales to set strategy, key contributor to RFP and RFI responses, provide collected strategies, driven insights, price-to-win analysis, and win themes.
  • Develop positive relationships with key customer technical influencers and 911 strategic decision makers
  • Develop strong presence in territory as a spokesperson for Atos Public Safety by becoming involved in industry activities/organizations.
  • Work with different internal teams and key third-party vendors during solution development and handover.
  • Give to customer designs, RFP responses, pricing, and creation of SoW’s
  • Regular interaction with customers, Sales, Delivery, 3rd Party vendors and Atos UCC Product House teams.
  • Customer facing position being about to host deep technical workshops and command a large audience.
  • Excellent outcome focused presentation skills
  • Work through transition of Sales to Delivery engaged in regular calls with delivery post sale and working with Sales to grow business
  • Lead interactive whiteboard sessions with customers to understand their problems and business goals discussing potential solutions in real time
  • Act as a trusted advisor to influence customer’s technology platform decisions and develop preference and dedication with Atos Public Safety
  • Must be willing to travel up to 40% of the time

 

 

Requirements

 

 

  • College degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience selling in Public Safety with deep knowledge of Next Generation Core Services\ ESInet, Call Handling\ Call taking, and Data Networking
  • Strong Engineering attitude and background
  • Strong Intuition for business
  • Specialist subject matter knowledge of Public Safety technologies
  • Understanding of ESINET implementation efforts and how those impact future business development opportunities and leads
  • Solid understanding of NENA i3 Next Generation 911 standards
  • Core Technical skills: VoIP, QoS, OSP Wired/ Wireless call routing, Data Networking, GIS/ LDB Data Bases, monitoring tools.
