Technical Support
• Provide technical support for customers’ operating systems and related software. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system configuration, performance, and security
• Ensure all mid-range system is operating in a stable and effective environment to meet with all Services Level Agreement.
• In conjunction with Solution Planning and Project Management team, implement technical projects to meet with Atos and customer’s standards and requirements.
• In conjunction with BAU team, manage all the changes, incidents and problems.
• Manage software vendors to ensure good quality of services and support are provided to Atos for technology updates and problem resolution.
• Leading a team to provide support function to all areas of Atos and other customer’s information System in the development, implementation, and maintenance of production application.
• Administrate customer’s standards, procedures, practices, and approach.
• Responsible for Planning, patch procedures, impact analysis and assessment, testing approach, deployment coordination, monitoring and reporting.
Training and Skills Management
• Arrange cross-training for team members to ensure critical support functions are adequately backup.
Liaison Activities
• In conjunction with other services supporting parties, deliver technical support and day-to-day services to meet with customer’s requirement and Services Level Agreement.
• Take problem ownership and follow through problem escalation procedure for all critical problems.
• Ensure day-to-day change requirements from customer that can be implemented in a timely and professional manner.
Technology Awareness
• Keep in touch with new technological advances and products.
• Evaluate and propose new software products or opportunities to management which is cost benefit to company’s services.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
At least 8 years of experience in Unix/Linux support or administration (AIX, Solaris and Redhat). It will be an advantage if the candidate has the knowledge of patching/upgrade of IBM’s HMC and VIO.
Strong knowledge of operating systems and related software, including system configuration, security, and performance tuning
Experience with OS installation, configuration, and maintenance
Job scheduling (TWS), WebSphere MQ, WAS, PowerHA, Connect Direct. The candidate needs to have at least 2 software knowledge.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
