We are seeking an Informatica MDM SaaS Specialist to support enterprise Master Data Management initiatives. This role will focus on configuring and managing Informatica MDM SaaS to create trusted “golden records,” improve data quality, and enable governed master data consumption across platforms and teams. You’ll partner with business data owners, data stewards, and platform teams to implement match/merge, survivorship, stewardship workflows, and integrations to downstream systems.

Key Responsibilities

MDM Configuration & Implementation

  • Attribute definitions, relationships, hierarchies, and reference data
  • Implement and tune match and merge strategies, including deterministic and probabilistic/fuzzy matching.
  • Define and manage survivorship rules, trust scores, validation rules, and standardization.
  • Set up stewardship workflows (task assignment, exception handling, approvals) to support data governance operations.

Data Quality & Governance Enablement

  • Establish rules and controls to improve data completeness, accuracy, consistency, and uniqueness.
  • Partner with data stewards/business owners to manage exceptions, remediation, and stewardship processes.
  • Produce and maintain documentation for:
    • Data definitions and business rules
    • Match/merge logic and survivorship
    • Stewardship workflows and operating procedures

Integrations & Data Consumption Support

  • Support inbound/outbound data flows between Informatica MDM SaaS and enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, data lake/warehouse, reporting).
  • Collaborate with integration/platform teams on:
    • Batch and/or API-based connectivity
    • Change data capture or event-driven patterns (where applicable)
  • Assist downstream teams by providing master data extracts, published views, and data lineage context.

Operations & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor MDM jobs, workflow queues, data quality metrics, and matching performance.
  • Troubleshoot data issues and root-cause mismatches, duplicates, and survivorship outcomes.
  • Participate in release planning, regression testing, and production support.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Master Data Management initiatives, with hands-on exposure to Informatica MDM (SaaS preferred).
  • Strong understanding of MDM concepts:
    • Golden record, match/merge, survivorship, stewardship
    • Hierarchies, reference data, metadata
  • Experience defining business rules and data governance controls in collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Strong data analysis skills (SQL and/or profiling tools) to validate and reconcile master data.
  • Familiarity with integration approaches (batch feeds, APIs, file-based exchange) and data lifecycle management.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Informatica IICS (Cloud Data Integration, Data Quality, API Management—if in scope).
  • Experience in regulated environments (e.g., financial services) and handling sensitive data (PII).
  • Exposure to cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure) and understanding how MDM publishes to analytics/warehouse layers.
  • Knowledge of data governance tools/processes (catalog, lineage, data stewardship operating models).
