Role: Mainframe Developer

Total Experience: 6-12 years

Job Location: Chennai, Mumbai and Bangalore

Mode of Hire: Permanent

Educational Qualification: Any (Full Time Graduate)

Technical Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in IBM Mainframe technologies
• Hands-on expertise in: COBOL, JCL, IMS DC is mandatory
• Good knowledge of VSAM, and CICS (preferred)
• Experience in application development, enhancements, maintenance, and production support

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Mainframe applications.
• Develop and support COBOL, JCL, IMS DC, IMS DB, DB2 based applications.
• Analyze business requirements and implement technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and defect fixing.
• Handle production incidents, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
• Support batch processing, job scheduling, and monitoring activities.
• Work closely with business users, onsite teams, and cross-functional stakeholders. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and release management activities.
