Role: Mainframe Support Engineer

Total Experience: 6-12 years

Job Location: Chennai

Mode of Hire: Permanent

Educational Qualification: Any (Full Time Graduate)

Technical Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on experience in Mainframe technologies with a minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, IMS DB, Control-M, and ServiceNow.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Monitor and support Mainframe production environments, ensuring high system reliability and uptime.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve job failures, abends, and performance-related issues.
• Execute and manage batch jobs, and resolve scheduling conflicts using tools such as CA-7 and Control-M.
• Work on ServiceNow ticket handling and CNTLM-related activities.
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to respond effectively to business/user queries.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams during production incidents and critical situations.
• Flexible to work in shifts and extend support during critical production issues or escalations.
