Job Description: IBM InfoSphere MDM Advanced Edition Developer

Position Title:

IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management (MDM) – Advanced Edition Developer

Timing : India (3:30 PM IST to 12:30 AM IST)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced IBM MDM Advanced Edition (AE) Developer responsible for implementing, customizing, and integrating enterprise-grade MDM solutions. The developer will work with multi-domain models, probabilistic matching, workflows, and stewardship features to deliver a trusted, centralized view of master data across the organization.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

1. MDM Development & Configuration

• Develop and configure multi-domain MDM components, including Party, Product, Account, and Organization domains.
• Implement and tune probabilistic matching algorithms for high‑accuracy entity resolution.
• Configure entity persistence, suspect processing, survivorship rules, and metadata.

2. Workflow, Stewardship & UI Customization

• Build and customize task management and stewardship workflows using IBM MDM’s integrated tools.
• Develop enhancements for data stewardship dashboards, search screens, and entity views.
• Enable advanced relationship and hierarchy exploration, including householding and graph-based views.

3. Integration Development

• Develop integrations using SOAP/REST services, messaging layers, and batch interfaces.
• Work with integration tools such as Kafka, MQ, or ETL platforms for inbound/outbound data.
• Implement multicloud or hybrid integration scenarios as required.

4. Performance Optimization

• Configure and monitor operational cache for low-latency transactions.
• Tune matching, search, entity retrieval, and batch processes for optimal performance.

5. Testing, Deployment & Support

• Write and execute unit, integration, and regression tests for MDM components.
• Support deployments across development, QA, and production environments.
• Diagnose and resolve complex MDM defects and data issues.

🧩 Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• 3–7 years of hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere MDM Advanced Edition.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Probabilistic & deterministic matching frameworks
• MDM algorithms and entity resolution
• Data modeling and domain pattern configuration
• Stewardship Center and workflow capabilities
• Proficiency in:
• Java / J2EE
• SQL (DB2, Oracle)
• Web services (SOAP/REST)
• XML, XSD, JSON
• Experience in performance tuning and operational MDM components.

Domain Skills

• Understanding of data governance, quality, lineage, and compliance.
• Experience with Customer 360, Party data, Product MDM, or similar domains.
