Roles & Responsibilities:

• Understand and experience of Agile development approach and tools.
• Extensive use of conversant with Oracle and/or SQL server database technologies in particular ETL/ELT design, development and testing in DBs like Oracle, SQL Server and Data Warehouse appliances like Netezza, Teradata, Vertica

Requirements:

• Minimum 8-10 years of total experience in IT building ETL Pipelines, Process and performance with Talend ETL Data Integration
• Experience working with Oracle, Netezza and/or other OLAP database system
• Good knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and analytical skills
• Good knowledge of Talend Cloud is added advantage.
• Competence with Unix/Linux Shell scripting
• Job scheduling experience using TAC
• Strong skills in writing SQL queries
• Knowledge of MicroStrategy or any reporting tool is advantage
• Understand national and international legislation pertaining to the Government/Public Sector IT, e.g. Data Protection
• Should have experience of managing team of ~10 Talend Developers.
• Strong team management skills.
• Should have experience is estimating medium or large projects with Talend or related technologies.
• Good communication skills with Client / stakeholders’ management skills.
