Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the bookkeeping and financial records of entities within the designated perimeter.
  • Manage the operational relationship with the local accounting firm: coordination, deliverable tracking, and deadline compliance.
  • Review trial balances (balance sheet, P&L, intercompany transactions) as well as tax and social declarations.
  • Act as the liaison between the accounting firm and the Consolidation team for the transmission of reporting packages (Balance Sheet, P&L, Intercos, Tax).
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of submitted financial data.
  • Work closely with all regional departments, including financial controlling and the Area Director to ensure financial consistency.
  • Monitor and document differences between local GAAP and IFRS standards.
  • Manage intercompany transactions and resolve discrepancies in coordination with other regions.

 

Desired Profile:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (e.g., DSCG, Master CCA, or business school with a finance specialization).
  • Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in accounting or audit, ideally in an international or multi-entity environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong command of local accounting standards and IFRS. Solid understanding of consolidation processes, intercompany flows, and accounting standard gaps.
  • IT Skills: Proficiency with accounting ERPs (e.g., SAP) and reporting/consolidation tools.
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, control functions). Affinity for digital tools and ability to adapt to structured and evolving environments.
  • Soft Skills: Autonomy, rigor, and a strong sense of responsibility. Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work effectively with a wide range of international partners, including accounting firms, financial controllers, regional directors, and the consolidation team. Fluent English required (regular written and verbal communication).
