Role Description

As a Senior D365 F&O Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) platform.

What You’ll Be Doing

Core Responsibilities

• Collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical design specifications.
• Develop and configure entities, data entities, forms, reports, and workflows using the D365 F&O platform.
• Design and develop custom X++ code to extend the functionality of D365 F&O and implement complex business logic.
• Integrate D365 F&O with external systems using various integration technologies such as Data Entities, OData, and custom integration solutions.
• Utilize the Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) to build custom solutions and enhance user experiences.
• Design and execute data migration strategies to move data from legacy systems into D365 F&O using data import/export tools.
• Conduct unit testing and participate in system testing to ensure the quality and reliability of the developed solutions.
• Identify and implement performance optimization techniques to enhance the performance of D365 F&O solutions.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues related to D365 F&O customizations, integrations, and configurations.
• Document technical designs, solution configurations, customizations, and integration specifications to facilitate knowledge sharing and future support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical support and guidance to end-users, and resolve issues related to D365 F&O.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest developments, updates, and best practices related to D365 F&O and related technologies.

Experience & Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a D365 F&O Developer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of the D365 F&O platform and its capabilities.
• Proficiency in customization and configuration of D365 F&O entities, data entities, forms, reports, and workflows.
• Experience with X++ development and customization of D365 F&O using Visual Studio and the MorphX development environment.
• Knowledge of integration technologies and experience in integrating D365 F&O with external systems.
• Familiarity with the Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and their integration with D365 F&O.
• business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
• Knowledge of data migration strategies and tools for D365 F&O.
• Experience in performance optimization and tuning of D365 F&O solutions.
• Microsoft certifications in D365 F&O development (such as MB-300: Microsoft Dynamics 365: Core Finance and Operations) are a plus.
