Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Financial Controller to support the financial management of IT projects across services, software development, and consulting. This role will act as a key business partner to Project Managers, ensuring accurate financial tracking, forecasting, and compliance, while contributing to project success and profitability.

What You’ll Be Doing

Core Responsibilities

• Monitor, control, and report on the financial performance of IT projects (CAPEX/OPEX)
• Apply IFRS 15 standards for revenue recognition, ensuring contract compliance
• Implement and maintain Percentage of Completion (POC) and Cost-Plus accounting methods
• Lead project budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
• Collaborate with project and delivery teams to provide financial insights for decision-making
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (P&L, cash flow, cost analysis)
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with accounting standards and corporate policies
• Identify financial risks and suggest appropriate mitigation strategies
• Coordinate with HR and PMO for resource allocation and project cost tracking
• Support bid and proposal activities by developing financial models and pricing strategies
• Drive continuous improvement of financial reporting tools and project accounting processes

Experience & Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in financial control or project accounting
• Previous experience in the IT industry (IT services, software, consulting) is strongly preferred
• Proven experience with project budgeting, forecasting, and cost control

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

• Strong understanding of project accounting and financial planning
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and advanced Excel
• Knowledge of IT delivery models (Agile, Waterfall) is a plus
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Strong stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
