About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Spot Buyer to join our Global Procurement team and take ownership of ad hoc purchasing and subcontracting & indirect requests within the Subco & Services category. This role requires strong contracting expertise, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to independently drive complex spot buy processes. If you excel in negotiating with suppliers, managing contractors, preparing and reviewing contractual terms, and supporting business stakeholders in fast paced operational environments - this position is an excellent match for you.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end to end spot buying activities within the Subcontracting & Indirect category.
  • Process one time and low value procurement requests while ensuring compliance with internal policies.
  • Source, assess, and compare proposals and service offers.
  • Prepare and support RFx processes in collaboration with Category Managers (where relevant).
  • Lead commercial and contractual negotiations.
  • Support stakeholders with best procurement and contracting solutions.
  • Create and maintain Pos in SAP/Ariba.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement and legal standards.
  • Resolve issues related to delivery, invoicing, or documentation.
  • Prepare ad-hoc spend reports and support vendor data updates

 

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in procurement, subcontracting, purchasing, sourcing, or vendor management.

  • Strong contracting expertise, ideally in subcontractor & indirect agreements or service delivery contracts.

  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to operate with multiple suppliers simultaneously.

  • Experience supporting internal stakeholders and managing end to end procurement cases.

  • Solid understanding of procurement processes and operational standards.

  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.

  • English proficiency (B2+).

    Nice to have

  • Background in legal studies or contract law courses.

  • Experience with SAP, Ariba, or similar procurement systems.
