Senior Buyer (Procurement – Subcontracting)

Location: Warsaw / Wrocław / Kraków / Łódź / Gdańsk / Bydgoszcz

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Buyer who will play a key role in delivering expected cost outcomes and building strong business value. This role works in close collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders across the UK&I, covering Major Accounts and multiple Verticals. We are seeking a true business partner with mature negotiation skills, strong data‑driven decision‑making abilities, and a practical approach to optimizing procurement processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Co‑creating and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives for the assigned category together with GEO.
  • Leading GEO savings initiatives in close cooperation with stakeholders.
  • Initiating and driving process improvements (e.g., demand management, bid management) to optimize the segment.
  • Analyzing internal and external data, understanding internal customer needs, and developing the category strategy and action plan.
  • Negotiating and reviewing contracts (offer analysis, supplier performance assessment and challenge) to deliver P&L savings.
  • Managing the complete RFx → Negotiation → Contracting cycle.
  • Contributing to the rationalization of the Atos supplier base.
  • Independently managing assigned categories / b‑codes.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Procurement, including subcontracting.
  • English at C1 level, written and spoken.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and building supplier partnerships.
  • Proven negotiation skills resulting in measurable savings and strong supplier relationships.
  • Commercial awareness and financial modelling capability.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a multigeographical environment.
  • Strong customer‑value orientation and flexibility in operating models.
  • Ability to quickly analyze and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to manage risk through effective strategic planning.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, high accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Very good command of Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel).
  • Proactive issue ownership and appropriate escalation when needed.

Nice to have:

  • Degree or courses in Law.
  • Experience working with stakeholders across UK&I.
