Input Management Consultant

 

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Input Management Consultant to support the implementation and optimization of Input Management processes within an electronic records management platform in a German public-sector environment, ensuring efficient handling, classification, and digitization of incoming documents and records.

 
This role offers a predominantly remote working model, combined with regular visits to the client site in Germany, typically once a month. Travel frequency and duration will vary depending on project requirements, with most visits lasting one to two days.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and optimization of Input Management processes within large-scale digital transformation programs.
  • Analyze and improve document intake, classification, routing, and processing workflows.
  • Support the rollout of document digitization initiatives, including daily mail and archive records digitization.
  • Conduct process assessments and help define target processes for electronic file (eFile / E-Akte) solutions.
  • Gather and document business requirements for Input Management platforms and related solutions.
  • Create process documentation, training materials, user guides, and communication content.
  • Coordinate communication across multiple stakeholders and organizational levels.
  • Support change management, implementation, and rollout activities.

 

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in Input Management, PMO, project coordination, process improvement, document management, or a related area.
  • Fluent German (C1) and English (B2+).
  • EU citizenship.
  • Experience in business process analysis and optimization.
  • Understanding of document management and digitization processes, including familiarity with DMS, OCR, workflow automation, or records management solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Experience supporting implementation, rollout, or change management initiatives.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in digital transformation programs, preferably within the public sector, is a plus.
  • Experience with eFile (E-Akte), Vinna, or archive digitization projects is considered a strong asset.
