What impact you can make?

The primary purpose of the IT Transition and Transformation Manager role is to lead the technology streams within transition projects from initial planning through to final implementation. This role ensures the successful migration of IT services—including software deployment, maintenance, and associated resources such as service teams, environments, tools, and expertise—from current IT vendors to Eviden GDC Poland.

  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Transition Management: Lead IT service transitions from legacy systems to new platforms, ensuring smooth migration and minimal disruption. Define and manage detailed transition plans, timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments, coordinating closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Transformation Leadership: Drive IT transformation initiatives aligned with organizational goals, developing strategies to enhance efficiency and optimize IT operations. Identify process improvement opportunities and lead initiatives that advance service delivery and operational effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders, including IT, operations, and business units, to align on goals and dependencies. Facilitate workshops and training sessions, and communicate project progress, challenges, and milestones to senior management.
  • Risk and Performance Management: Continuously monitor and mitigate project risks while ensuring adherence to methodology, including Knowledge Transfer, collaborative working phases, and handover to operations. Define and track KPIs, conduct post-transition reviews, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Project and Team Leadership: Contribute to the pre-sales, due diligence, and planning phases of new projects by designing transition solutions, cost evaluations, and schedules. Prepare detailed project documentation, maintain positive team dynamics, and guide customers unfamiliar with transition processes.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in IT transition and transformation management, preferably in a multinational environment;
  • Proficient use of German (B2+) and English (B2+) languages;
  • Experience managing projects and/or service with strong understanding of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL);
  • IT literacy and Experience with change management methodologies and tools;
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
