Your job in a nutshell:

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced IT Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be adept at transforming data into insights that drive business value. This role involves a blend of technical prowess, business acumen, and analytical skills.

 

 

What will you be doing:

 

  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.
  • Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
  • Utilize Advanced Data Options (ADO) for data management and query optimization.
  • Apply Agile methodologies to ensure quick and effective responses to data analytics requirements.
  • Create and maintain rich interactive visual reports and dashboards using Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
  • Perform advanced Excel functions to organize and analyze large datasets, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in data handling.

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst.
  • Technical expertise in data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases (SQL, etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks).
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.).
  • Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
  • BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics.

 

 

Desired Skills:

 

  • Experience with ADO, Agile methodologies, BI tools, and Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Adept at report writing and presenting findings.
