Strategic Director – IT Services & AI


About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned technology and business leader to take on the role of Strategic Director – IT Services & AI, responsible for driving the development of our IT & AI portfolio across the European market. This executive position plays a critical role in shaping strategy, scaling AI‑enabled services, accelerating commercial growth, and leading organizational transformation in collaboration with global teams.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and commercialization of IT & AI services across Europe.
  • Define strategic directions for AI‑enabled solutions (automation, analytics, next‑gen AI).
  • Shape IT/AI portfolio strategy, roadmap, and investment decisions.
  • Establish architectural standards and technology best practices.
  • Drive market positioning and competitive differentiation of IT & AI services.
  • Scale AI products and co‑create pricing, value proposition, and GTM strategies.
  • Integrate AI solutions with key technology partners and ecosystems.
  • Support revenue growth through client engagements, bids, and sales initiatives.
  • Lead AI adoption and organizational transformation toward automation and data‑driven culture.
  • Manage and develop a large, multi‑layered organization (~200 FTE) and represent the domain globally.

 

Requirements

  • 10–15+ years of strategic experience in IT Services, AI, Digital, or Consulting.
  • Proven track record in building, scaling, and commercializing IT/AI offerings regionally or globally.
  • Strong expertise in AI, MLOps/LLMOps, governance, and modern architectures (on‑prem/cloud/sovereign).
  • Experience defining IT/AI portfolio, roadmap, and architectural standards.
  • Commercial acumen with measurable P&L, revenue, and margin impact.
  • Ability to build pricing, value proposition, and Go‑to‑Market strategies for AI products and services.
  • Executive‑level client‑facing skills and experience collaborating with Sales/Presales/Bid teams.
  • Leadership experience managing 100–200+ FTE, including distributed teams.
  • Deep understanding of European Enterprise & Public Sector markets and tech partnership ecosystems.
  • Strong strategic thinking, communication, and ability to translate technology into business value.
