Project type: S/4HANA implementation project, migration of the SAP ECC 6.0 environment to S/4HANA

 

Sector/industry: Manufacturing / retail – several EU countries, Norway, UK

 

Scope of the project implementation: Migration of the SAP ECC 6.0 environment to S/4HANA in scope of logistics modules (including SD, MM, WM) and financial modules (SAP FI and SAP CO (minimum extent). Consolidation of customer environments from 4 SAP systems to one SAP S/4HANA private cloud system.

 

Tasks/responsibilities: SAP FICO team leader and SAP FI expert that will be responsible for configuration of several company codes for different European countries and all project tasks related to SAP S/4HANA implementation in finance area for Customer (FI module and CO module (minimal scope)), including:

  • Development of a strategy/approach for the SAP ECC Landscape migration to S/4HANA in the SAP FI module and the SAP CO module (with particular emphasis on the implementation of a new general ledger and a common chart of accounts)
  • Blueprint, HLD (High Level Design) and/or FIT to standard/GAP analysis documents – preparation and acceptance by the client
  • S/4HANA system configuration
  • Analysis and configuration transfer of customer's custom solutions to S/4HANA
  • Functional tests (preparation, realization) and error solving
  • Acceptance Tests (preparation, support in implementation by the client) and error resolution
  • Customer training (preparation, realization)
  • Data migration (co-creation of the data migration strategy, participation in the preparation and realization of the data migration plan to S/4HANA)
  • Deployment (preparation, realization of the cutover plan (production launch))
  • Hypercare (resolving errors immediately after production launch – one month)

 

Additional skills:

  • Very good level of English (level C2) – enabling communication and cooperation with the client (including work with project documentation)
  • Ability of analytical thinking, ability of knowledge extending and cooperating with the team
  • Willing to skills development, engagement, determination in problem solving
