Job description:
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer for one of our projects with Media House from Switzerland.


As a team member you will take part in a project run on the Google Cloud with the Apache’s Spark data processing in its centre. As a Data Engineer you will integrate various technologies and data sources.


There will be a day-to-day collaboration work with Data Scientists discussing and understanding business requirements that enable providing custom articles newsletters and recommendations.


 The ideal candidate should be well familiar with Apache Spark (in Scala), Python data processing (pandas), Java (core, Spring).

Skillser Requirements: 

  • Senior level (min. 5 years of working experience in a similar role). 
  • Strong programming background (with hands-on experience, clean code). 
  • Java 11 (Spring, Maven).
  • Scala, opcionally including some experience with Scala API for Apache Spark.
  • Python 3.x (Celery, Pandas).
  • UNderstanding of Rest API design.
  • Ideally some experience related to databases and ETL. 


Nice to have:

  • Some knowledge of SQL (e.g. also including performance optimization) ideally in the context of DWH. 
  • Experience with "Big Data" and distributed computing.
  • Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript.



  • Copyright supplement up to 90%.
  • Private healthcare system (provided by Luxmed) – package is mostly financed by Atos, with costs on the Employee side being only 4zł per month; additionally, there is a possibility of including Your family in the package (including children and seniors), but Atos does not cover those fees.
  • Group insurance (provided by Generali) - package is mostly financed by Atos; with costs on the Employee side being only 5zł per month; additionally, there is a possibility of including Your family in the package.

  • Annual bonus (about 10% of Your gross annual earnings), paid in two installments every 6 months (final bonus amount is dependent on the company’s financial results and/or Employee performance.
  • Both internal and external trainings at least once every year (with external trainings having a separate budget).
  • E-learning platform for internal trainings with more than 2000 technical and soft skill trainings that You can take part in at any time, including language courses at every level of advancement (ang, de, fr, it, es).
  • Language courses with language teacher to take part in stationary or on-line.
  • An additional paid day off for long-term Atos Employees.
