Azure Engineer

We are currently looking for an ambitious Azure Engineer into our Azure Cloud Team.
 

You will be responsible to:

• Maintain the Azure resources including IaaS and PaaS solutions using Terraform.
• Acknowledge, troubleshoot and resolve tickets assigned to the team in a correct way.
• Escalate incidents internally or to 3rd party partners when required.
• Participate, on a punctual basis, on specific projects related to your specialty.

Duties:

• Maintains and adapts the infrastructure (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, Network configuration) using Terraform;
• Manage, coordinate, and implement changes on the Azure resources,
• Azure Resources: L3 Incident resolution, Problem resolution;
• Troubleshooting, co-ordination with third party suppliers as well as with the central IT department of the customer;
• Advises the project team and customer request;
• Proactively monitoring system performance;
• Maintains the relevant documents/manuals describing the system and its infrastructure;
• Provides input for Incidents/Problems/Defects post closure analysis to the Incident/Problem Manager and/or the Technical Team Leader;
• Provides input in order to organize regular knowledge transfer sessions.

Working Conditions:

• 100% remote position from territory of Poland (ability to visit our office in Bydgoszcz once per 3 months will be a plus)
• Work shifts of 8 hours covering the time range between 08:00 and 18:00 from Monday to Friday with some flexibility.
• On-call shifts 7 days in a row (once per month, additionally paid)

Employment and technical/certification requirements:

• At least 4 years of professional experience in the specific ICT domains as described below
• At least 2 years’ experience with Azure;
• Experience with troubleshooting Azure resources related problems including network issues and RBAC privileges issues;
• Experience with troubleshooting Azure Active Directory related problems;
• Experience with deploying Azure resources using Terraform scripts;
• Experience with Azure DevOps portal and projects management;
• Experience working with git repositories;
• Experience with IaaS - Virtual Machines management in Azure;
• Basic knowledge to support, install Linux and Windows server in Azure environments;
• Experience with PaaS – e.g. WebApps, Storage Accounts, KeyVaults, AKS management in Azure;
• Experience with VNets, Firewalls, NSGs, Private Links management in Azure;
• Experience with Azure Active Directory management including App Registration and Enterprise Applications;
• Good communication skills;
• Knowledge of ITIL V3 processes.

Languages:

• English proficient (CEFRL Level: Minimum B2, Ideally C1)
   

Education:

• Bachelor or University degree in IT
• or equivalent by valid professional IT certifications in the domain of administration/operations of Azure / Terraform.
• AZ-104 Certificate
