Description

 

As an Azure Cloud Architect, you will apply your knowledge to design and deliver advanced, market leading cloud managed services for Microsoft Azure.

 

To facilitate on-time product delivery, you will work with a variety of stakeholders to discuss development efforts, prioritize work, identify and resolve dependencies, and maintain organizational focus. You will provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products, services, and processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology.  

 

You need to possess the ability to grow further into new generations of services and comprehend the requirements and dependencies to integrate into an enterprise level landscape. 

 

Embracing an agile development framework is key.  Effectively contribute to Agile workflows – Feature/Epic/Story definition, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, scrum of scrums and retrospectives. Work within a global workforce across multiple time zones.  Empowered to collaborate and make decisions together in a team with speed and efficiency.

  

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop in Azure, delivering enterprise level shared services for the management of public cloud end points and services
  • Work with functional and admin teams to deliver automated workflow solutions with cloud native tools
  • Advanced scripting of business rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, etc.
  • Advise functional and admin teams on design, development, and overall best practices
  • React quickly to ever changing market conditions and technology advancements with “out of the box” solutions that allow our business partners to have the tools that will enable them to reach and exceed our sales goals
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
  • Work closely with architects and product owners to execute product/services automation/product roadmaps

 

Qualifications:

  • Azure Associate certification or equivalent knowledge level
  • 6+ years of professional experience
  • Previous architecture / technology leadership experience
  • Experience with Terraform and/or native Azure automation
  • Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and toolset (i.e. Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git)
  • Experience with Kubernetes architecture and toolset ecosystem a plus
  • Must be adaptable to work in a varied, fast paced exciting, ever-changing environment
  • Experience working with and managing work with Jira is a plus

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues
