As a successful Application Manager, you will be responsible for providing services for and with internal  customers in the financial processing sector in all countries, managing and maintaining bundle of new and  inherited applications, platforms, toolchains, and systems. You will also be working closely with  colleagues from the Development and Test departments and project group members on customer  projects. As a team we mainly take care of management and maintenance of several Issuing applications for the  European market.


Depending on individual skills and knowledge you will be engaged in (but not limited to):

  • Manage the correct use of the applications during daily operation,
  • Manage and resolve incidents, problems, and changes and sometimes with customer interaction,
  • Quickly and accurately determine impact in case of (high level) incidents, estimate resolution  times in case of (high level) incidents and establish counter measures in case of incidents,
  • Initiate improvement plans and prevention of problems,
  • Contribute to key consolidation projects (European Issuing transformation),
  • Support test- and development teams,
  • Set, check, and maintain conditions and criteria for the implementation of new or changed  application components and processes,
  • Create quality improvement plans, business continuity plans, operating instructions.


To be suitable for the role the self-reliability, ability to solve multithread technical issues and effective  communication in English and German are required.

The position will be in our well communicated offices in 
Wroclaw/Warsaw/Łódź/Bydgoszcz/Kraków/Opole depending on your preferences. 


You offer:

  • Strong affinity with Windows Server
  • Good knowledge of Windows environment, cmd scripting
  • Working proficiency of German and English language - allowing fluent communication in both,
  • Good communication skills with the ability to provide a coherent explanation at different levels,
  • Ability to work accurately, independently and with customer focus,
  • Good organization skills capable of enthusiastically completing tasks with the team,
  • Multitasking approach and cooperative team player,
  • ITIL, Linux, and Powershell knowledge, will be a plus
