We are seeking an experienced MF DB Sysprog expert with senior-level expertise in IBM IMS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting these systems to ensure their optimal performance, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain IBM IMS systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Manage backups and coordinate with other IT teams to support critical business applications.
- Apply updates, tune system parameters, and manage security settings.
- Provide root cause analysis for system failures.
Requirements:
- Strong technical expertise in z/OS and related IBM products.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Several years of relevant experience.
