We are looking for a Business Analyst who thrives on using the latest technology to drive business growth and streamline operations. This role demands a problem-solver with strong analytical skills, a passion for process automation, and a knack for delivering strategic business insights. As a key part of our team, you’ll help translate complex requirements into effective, real-world solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
  • Document requirements, define scope and objectives, and design systems aligned with business goals.
  • Translate customer requirements into user stories and create high-quality software designs.
  • Advise on process improvements and IT automation strategies.
  • Develop workflow diagrams, analyze system capabilities, and draft detailed specifications.
  • Manage and prioritize requirements backlogs, collaborating with stakeholders to clarify and refine inquiries.
  • Assess current practices and recommend system modifications to improve efficiency.
  • Support team efforts and actively contribute to achieving collective goals.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in fields such as Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Management.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to challenge business process owners constructively and translate complex needs into actionable solutions.
  • Experience managing stakeholder expectations and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
  • Certification in IREB, BCS, BABOK, BISL, or ISQI.
  • Familiarity with BPM, UML, workflow diagrams, and TOGAF frameworks.
  • Knowledge of APIs, integration tools, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is advantageous.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken) – this is mandatory.
  • Preferably experienced across various industries, such as public sector, financial services, or manufacturing.
