We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure & Orchestration Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a robust SDE Orchestration Framework.
The ideal candidate has strong experience with infrastructure & service orchestration (CloudSoft AMP or similar) and container orchestration using Kubernetes, as well as hands-on exposure to automation tools (Ansible, GitLab, Packer), centralized secret management (Vault), and logging/monitoring (Fluentd, Elastic, Nginx).
You will contribute to the High-Level and Low-Level Design, service orchestration, image repository management, and version control tooling, and ensure secure, scalable infrastructure and Kubernetes workloads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Service Design Studio based on CloudSoft AMP and GitLab integrations.
- Deploy and configure Ansible playbooks for orchestrating infrastructure and networking services.
- Design, deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters (on-prem and/or cloud) and ensure high availability, scalability, and security of containerized workloads.
- Integrate orchestration workflows with Kubernetes (e.g. deploy Helm charts, manage manifests, automate rollout/rollback, integrate services with networking and security policies).
- Integrate orchestration with Vault for centralized secret and credential management.
- Configure and manage Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Fluentd) and Nginx for log aggregation and visualization.
- Implement and maintain an Image Store using JFrog Artifactory and integrate with orchestration flows.
- Automate the creation of VM images using HashiCorp Packer.
- Manage the CloudSoft AMP Catalog and orchestration blueprints, including templates for Kubernetes-based services.
- Configure and support GitLab as the version control and CI/CD engine for orchestration pipelines (infrastructure as code, Kubernetes deployment pipelines, etc.).
- Ensure secure and traceable orchestration processes, aligned with NATO operational policies.
- Support and document the SDE Orchestrator Framework as part of the High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-domain teams (network, compute, storage, security) to align orchestration and Kubernetes with infrastructure requirements.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years’ experience in infrastructure automation and orchestration.
- Strong hands-on experience with containerization and container orchestration (Docker & Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge of CloudSoft AMP or similar orchestrators (Cloudify, Morpheus, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Ansible, Vault, GitLab, and Packer.
- Experience with log and metric collection tools: Fluentd, ElasticSearch, Kibana, Grafana.

- Basic Helm usage (charts management, release lifecycle)
- CI/CD integration for Kubernetes workloads (GitLab pipelines or similar)
- Familiarity with infrastructure lifecycle management in virtualized or hybrid environments.
- Ability to write technical documentation: System Design Specifications (HLD/LLD).
Preferred Certifications:
- Hashi Corp Certified (Vault, Packer, Terraform)
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Ansible Automation Certified
