We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and SAP Fiori to join our global IT organization. The ideal candidate has deep technical knowledge of SAP environments, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of delivering robust, scalable, and high-quality solutions in complex landscapes.
The role involves close collaboration with functional teams, proactive problem-solving, and ownership of technical design and development across SAP applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP programs, enhancements, and interfaces across SAP modules.
- Implement, support, and troubleshoot EDI/IDoc interfaces, including mappings, partner profiles, message types, and integration flows.
- Develop and extend SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5 and OData services.
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Perform debugging, performance optimization, and ensure code compliance with SAP best practices.
- Provide technical support during upgrades, migrations, and system enhancements.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, following internal development standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and technical design discussions.
What You Bring:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong experience with EDI / IDocs, including partner profiles, mappings, and troubleshooting.
- Proven expertise in SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and OData services.
- Experience in debugging, performance tuning, and issue resolution in complex SAP environments.
- Familiarity with SAP BTP and cloud-based development is considered an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a global team.
