The opportunity

This PMO Finance Lead role is required to manage the financials of a large transformational programme in Atos BPS IT & Change. This will involve working closely with Project Managers, Programme Managers and Programme Directors to ensure the financials are forecasted, tracked and reported on accurately up through senior management. This role sits within the Programme Management Office (PMO) and reports to the PMO Manager. 


Your day-to-day responsibilities include:



  • Consolidated finance picture across Atos BPS Transformational programme with a detailed understanding of current and projected finances
  • Procurement support to PMs
  • Maintain E2E Process agreement with Finance
  • Maintain Structure and Ownership list of all WBS codes
  • Temperature checks on potential overspend and opportunities to save
  • Maintain an updated position of the programme to plan v budgets
  • Production of monthly financial reports and packs
  • Support month-end approval decisions with Senior Management
  • Maintain Finance Issues log
  • Manage Change Control process – general principles
  • Own Third Party Charging process
  • Alignment with Resourcing
  • Invoicing


  • It will be a full-time role

Skills we cannot do without:

  • Experience of working within a financial environment  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, working as part of a team with both internal and external stakeholders. Able to influence and challenge managers at all levels, towards effective financial and planning management
  • Excel expert
  • Self-sufficient and forward-looking/planning


Skills we’d like:

  • Proven experience within financial/procurement role, working in a complex, matrix environment with cross-functional teams
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with a track record in exceptional financial and planning delivery
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement
  • You can work with others to identify areas for improvement and simplify processes - using technology where possible - to increase efficiency and enhance customer service.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills complemented by a good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Experience of working within PMO/a PMO environment
