The opportunity

Atos Application Management is in search for the next motivated forward-thinking DevOps Engineers to join our team!

Skills and experience we can't do without:

  • Version control tools - Git; CICD pipelines and tooling such as Jenkins/Gitlab.

  • Building tool configuration such as Maven and Gradle. Scripting and automation tools - e.g. Gradle, Bash.

  • Containers and container platforms e.g. Docker, Kubernetes.

  • Cloud platforms (e.g. AWS).

  • Infrastructure automation technologies - e.g. Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation.

  • Working in an agile environment. Using collaboration tools such as Jira/ Confluence.

  • DevOps within a cloud environment and working with various DevOps tools.



  • Support the team with builds and deployments.

  • Build and manage environments.

  • Ensure our applications are built and deployed securely.

  • Set up supervising and alerting tools. Support the smooth running of development environments and deployments. Automate deployments and processes.

  • Support with production incidents, where needed.

  • Document tools, setups and processes and sharing knowledge with other members of the team.

  • Collaborate and confer with the team and the customers to ensure solutions built meet requirements. Help the team to achieve defined SLAs including assisting in resolving incidents and problems where needed.

  • Accurately update working tools used by the team such as Jira and Confluence.


Skills and experience we would like: strong interpersonal skills, flexible ‘can-do’ and 'go-getter' demeanor, tact and diplomacy, mentoring and guiding other team members, ability to build automated processes. ITIL qualification (ITIL 4 certification preferred).

NOTE: For this position you will be required to undertake and successfully gain SC level security clearance.
