Mission / Role Summary

Design, build, test and operationalise production-grade DigiCrew agents for enterprise infrastructure operations. The role develops autonomous and human-supervised agents on Azure AI Foundry that reason, plan, use tools and integrate with ITSM, monitoring and automation platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Build multi-step and multi-agent workflows for incident, change, RCA, health, security and FinOps use cases
• Implement LLM orchestration, prompts, tool/function calling, structured outputs and RAG patterns
• Integrate agents with ServiceNow/ITSM, CMDB, monitoring, Azure services, Ansible/Terraform, Azure DevOps/GitHub and REST/MCP interfaces
• Develop reusable Python libraries and connectors for diagnostics, remediation, ticketing and evidence capture
• Implement safe execution controls, including RBAC, Key Vault, private networking, human-in-the-loop gates, audit trails and prompt-injection mitigations
• Test and evaluate agent behaviour, reliability, latency, cost and regression performance
• Deploy through CI/CD and support production stabilisation, hypercare and continuous improvement
• Produce technical documentation, runbooks and reusable delivery patterns

Required Skills

• Production-oriented Python development, including async patterns, type hints and structured data handling
• Strong understanding of LLM and agentic AI fundamentals: tool calling, structured outputs, agent loops, memory and orchestration
• Hands-on experience with an agent framework or Azure AI Foundry / Azure OpenAI
• REST APIs, JSON, Git, CI/CD and automated testing
• Cloud development and secure enterprise integration fundamentals
• Ability to diagnose failures in long-running, tool-using agent workflows

Nice-to-Have Skills

• ServiceNow/ITSM, CMDB and infrastructure operations knowledge
• Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell or Bash automation experience
• RAG, vector search, evaluation harnesses or fine-tuning exposure
• Agent observability using Application Insights, Azure Monitor, OpenTelemetry or equivalent
• AI security, responsible AI, data residency and enterprise identity/secrets management
• Experience with multi-agent communication or MCP-based integrations

Experience Profile

• 0–3 years in AI, software or automation engineering at Entry level
• Evidence of production-quality engineering through employment, an apprenticeship, internship or substantial delivery projects in Education
• Exposure to cloud-native development and enterprise systems integration is preferred

Candidate Persona

A practical, curious builder who enjoys turning operational problems into reliable working agents. Comfortable debugging ambiguity, learning new frameworks quickly and applying strong engineering discipline to security, testing, observability and production support.
