To strenghten our Digital Workplace team in Zürich we are looking for a Active Directory 2nd line Support Engineer (m/f/d).

 

Your new challenge

 

  • Advising on best practices and third-party integration, serving as a knowledge expert on Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Responsible for designing, enhancing and implementing Office 365 solutions, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server Online, Microsoft Exchange Hybrid, Azure Active Directory, DNS, AD Connect, and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS).
  • Architect and deploy Active Directory DC design, Schema, OU design, AD replication topology, and DC backup/restore procedures.
  • Management of organizations devices via Mobile Application Management (MAM) and Mobile Device Management (MDM).
  • Development of PowerShell scripts to streamline administrative tasks.
  • Provide technology leadership in the management of centralized directories (such as LDAP, AD, AAD) to ensure flexible but granular security levels when applied to organizational data, system processes, organizational employees, etc.
  • Provide Azure AD Connect Federation and Pass-Through Authentication Single Sign-on expertise.
  • Troubleshoots various software and exchange issues via phone, email, chat and remote-control tools or involve technical resources to ensure resolution.
  • Identify, investigate and research user’s questions and problems, as well as isolating and resolving information systems problems.
  • Help to maintain the identity management environment.
  • Serve as escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, providing guidance and direction in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems.
  • Identify opportunities to innovate, extend and enhance service delivery everywhere possible.
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.
  • Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.
  • Improve existing processes through solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions or documentation.
  • Manage customer satisfaction through effectively communicating and managing customer expectations

 

Your profile

 

  • Experience with Azure Administration, building resource groups and managing IaaS deployments.
  • Knowledge of Intune App Protection Policies and Azure Conditional Access Policies.
  • Deep and thorough understanding of Group Policy Objects (GPO) and security controls.
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability across an integrated, multi-server environment.
  • Expert working knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, DNS, and Group Policy to manage enterprise environment.
  • Broad understanding of all Office 365 application’s functionality and governance.
  • Experience with Windows Domain migration, and Office 365 Domain change.
  • Ability to work independently and research/resolve technical issues and solutions.
  • Proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • High motivation to self-development.
  • Fluent English and German are required, French is an asset.
