Technical Architect - Azure AI (OpenAI)

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AI Architect to lead Azure AI solutioning, with deep expertise in Microsoft OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services, and Microsoft Copilot stack. This role involves active participation in pre-sales, crafting AI strategies, building demos and POCs, engaging with customers, and driving solutioning for RFPs and RFIs. The ideal candidate will work closely with the AI Practice Lead and contribute across business development and solution delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise AI solutions using Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services, and Microsoft Copilot stack.

• Participate in customer presentations, workshops, and technical discussions.

• Design and develop Proofs of Concept (PoCs) showcasing Azure AI capabilities for varied use cases (e.g., document intelligence, chatbots, code assistants, etc.).

• Support RFP/RFI responses by articulating technical solutions, architecture diagrams, and effort estimations.

• Create professional and visually appealing PowerPoint presentations for client engagements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (cloud, data, domain SMEs) to drive holistic AI solutions.

• Guide junior team members and ensure knowledge sharing across the practice.

• Stay updated on Microsoft’s AI roadmap and drive innovation within the practice. Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Azure AI Services including Azure OpenAI (GPT, embeddings), Azure Cognitive Services (Form Recognizer, Translator, Vision, etc.).

• Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility and integration patterns (Graph APIs, plugins, connectors).

• Expertise in Python programming, JSON, RESTful API design and integration.

• Strong understanding of LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, semantic search, vector stores, and embeddings.

• Experience with Azure Machine Learning, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and Power Platform AI Builder.

• Proficient in creating client-facing artifacts — architecture diagrams, solution blueprints, presentations, and demos.

• Solid experience in pre-sales, solutioning, estimations, and bid management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft certifications in Azure AI (e.g., AI-102 or AZ-305).

• Exposure to Generative AI tools like LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or Prompt Flow.

• Experience working with industry-specific AI use cases (e.g., BFSI, Healthcare, Manufacturing).

• Familiarity with other cloud providers (AWS/GCP) is a plus.
