Role and Responsibilities

  • We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant to join our dynamic team.
  • As an integral part of our organization, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining seamless integrations between various SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Your expertise in SAP BASIS will contribute to the success of critical business processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design integration solutions.
  • Implement best practices, adhere to integration patterns, and ensure data consistency.
  • Implement security measures to protect sensitive data during transmission
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies.

 

Requirements

 

Senior Consultant – Systems SAP Basis L2/L3/L4 level Support Mandatory Skills

  • Strong conceptual Knowledge of SAP Architecture and new dimension products
  • Master with Oracle Database, HANA
  • Master with AIX and Other Unix based OS
  • Proficient with ABAP & JAVA Stacks, Web Dispatcher, SAP Routers, BI, PI, Solution Manager, BOBJ
  • Independently perform System Copies, SAP Upgrades, DB Upgrades, Installation
  • Basic knowledge on new dimension products like Hana , Azzure , AWS etc Role and Responsibilities
  • First point of escalation contact for customer issues, concerns.
  • Operation meeting with counterpart (lead country/customer)
  • Prepare and track the issue logs to Completion
  • Problem Management : Maintain RCA database and review the RCA, ensure delivery of RCA in agreed timelines & quality
  • RCA action closure for effectiveness
  • Pro-active problem management : Analyze the cause of false, recurring tickets and severity 1 incidents and suggest improvements to resolve and avoid recurrence
  • Participation in Crisis calls
  • Analysis of Service performance Reports for corrective actions
  • Perform EHP, Version Upgrades , DB version upgrades, Performance Analysis and tuning , Solution Manager configuration
  • Train L1-L3 teams
  • Technical Documentation
  • Project Planning , Plan Yearly Maintenance Tasks , Cut Over Planning
  • Expert Analysis with Risk and Mitigation Good to have Skills
  • DB2 Database knowledge
  • HANA, Azzure, AWS
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework is preferred (incident management, Change management, Problem management) Other details
  • Primarily working in EUROPE (CET)
