Within Atos Netherlands we are currently expanding our SAP Practice and are looking for an experienced SAP MDG Consultant to join our team. You have a deep knowledge of business processes and are able to support our commercial staff with presales activities. As a professional, you bring along a vibrant SAP network and you have a feeling for commercial opportunities.

Of course, we don’t need to tell you what an SAP MDG Consultant does, but we can tell you about SAP the Atos way.

Being a SAP MDG Consultant at Atos is a challenging role that will vary with each different project, but fundamentally you will be involved in the presales, design, specification, build, test, and launch phases of the required SAP solution at each client.

Some recent projects included:

• Improving sales and operations planning at a top pharmaceutical, using SAP IBP
• Realigning logistic and maintenance processes at a government organization.
• Setting up an automated warehouse for spare airplane parts for a major airline, using SAP EWM
• Developing analytics for reporting on corporate social responsibility of a large multinational,
• Translating desired organizational results into financial and operational resource requirements at a leading manufacturing organization,
• Realization of Carve-Outs of international companies
• Transformations from ECC environments to S/4 for a range of companies
• Worldwide SAP rollouts for several leading international companies
• Developing interfaces for a well-known Dutch brewery

Who are you?

As an experienced SAP MDG Consultant you know your skills and we don’t need to bore you with a lengthy list of requirements. In a nutshell:

The data management consultant will define strategies, develop and deliver solutions that enable the collection, processing and management of information from one or more sources, and the subsequent delivery of information to audiences in support of key business processes. This position provides leadership and oversight of the Data Governance objectives and policies, procedures. You are expected to have:

Hands-on experience leading data definitions development, data quality improvements, data model updates and collaborating with multi-functional teams comprised of client groups, project teams and IT organizations.

Hands-on experience Identifying, assessing and solving complex business problems for areas of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Experience collaborating data with owners and users/analysts across the customer operations to modify or implement new repeatable and reliable businesses processes to improve and sustain effective
data governance resulting in improved quality and consistency of data used to drive key business decisions.

Experience working closely with Data Architects to ensure changes are appropriately synchronized with the metadata strategy and logical data model.

Experience in working across business/technology teams to ensure alignment between business solution definition & systems architecture for the organization.

Experience working with SAP FI/CO, MM, SD, PP or PM and Master Data, required. Experience in S/4 environment is highly appreciated.

3 years of experience in Master data management with expertise in implementing SAP Master Data Governance (MDG).

Experience in complex (international) SAP environments supporting multiple components preferred.
