We welcome a qualified Legal Counsel (LLM) in the Netherlands to join our Benelux diverse team.

We are looking for a new colleague with validated experience at a credible commercial firm/IT enterprise, to join the in-house legal team of a leading technology services company.

Ideally, your experience will be primarily in the IT sector and have included drafting, negotiating and advising on issues related to commercial contracts (outsourcing, consulting, licensing, hosting, software development and other services Atos offers its customers) including compliance and GDPR matters.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Review, drafting, and negotiating a wide variety of commercial and procurement related contracts, collaborating with our commercial, procurement and sales leads
  • Advising the business on tender processes and participating in contractual negotiations with a range of customers, suppliers, and partners in different sectors.
  • Advising in contract reviews and approval processes
  • Advising on public procurement issues, data protection law and TUPE/ARD matters.
  • Providing general legal advice to the business

Key skills and experience:

  • The current role of a qualified legal counsel (LLM) with several years of relevant experience with commercial IT contracts, contract management and dispute related activities
  • Excellent academic qualifications
  • Experience in the IT or technology sector or comparable industry and/or law firm or inhouse legal function
  • Ability to work independently and deliver and handle personal workload
  • Enthusiasm, motivation, flexibility, and proactivity in solving issues
  • Fluent Dutch and English
  • Good team spirit
  • International experience
