Azure Engineer

In the Dutch Technical Services practice we work for the big international companies in The Netherlands in a wide variety of branches and different technological challenges. We have an Agile philosophy and so do our clients, so you will be working in Scrum teams or DevOps teams. Depending on the assignment you will be working at the customer location, the Atos Office (in Amstelveen, Groningen or Eindhoven) or remote from your home office. Our assignments normally are between 6 and 24 months. 

 

Тhe role  
As an Azure engineer, you will design, build and manage Windows Server and Azure Cloud environments. Most clients have hybrid environments, with on premise servers and cloud. You will be part of migration-to-the-cloud projects, because you understand both worlds. Your focus is on continuous improvement and automation, using state of the art scripting languages and tooling. Working in an Agile/Scrum or DevOps team is nothing new for you anymore.

Besides your personal skills and passion for technology, we have a few must have requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in ICT 

  • Certifications in Azure and VMware 

  • Hands-on experience (minimum of 3 years) in Windows Server, VMware and Azure infrastructure management (monitoring, performance testing, deployment), automating, advising on changes and innovations 

  • Experience in most of these: SCCM, SCOM, Active Directory, PowerShell, Linux, Python, Ansible, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Hyper-V, Apache webserver 

  • Experience in network and security: firewalls, authentication, vulnerabilities etc. 

  • Experience with Agile working (Scrum/SAFe/DevOps) and CI/CD 

  • You are currently living in The Netherlands and have good knowledge of the Dutch and English language, both written and verbal
