As a Technical/Operational Application Manager you are responsible for the management and maintenance of applications for the customer “ Public Prosecution Service”. You will be supervising the roll-out of new software applications to ensure there are no problems. Troubleshooting and resolving any problems with business application software.

  • Enthusiastic person, eager to learn
  • Want to understand what you see and what you are doing
  • Challenge what you don’t understand, not afraid to ask teammates for information or help
  • Ability to investigate technical issues yourself and discuss your findings with team mates
  • Flexible with working hours (for standby shifts, or weekend releases)

Skills and experience we can't do without:

  • Experience with Linux RedHat 5/6/7/8
  • Experience in Oracle Weblogic 12c fusion middleware (osb/soa/wcc/bpm/adf)
  • Experience in Java 1.8
  • Understanding of Windows Server 2012/2019
  • Knowledge of SQL Server 2012
  • Automation skills (example: linux kornshell, python, ansible)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Application Management
  • BA in Information Technology or Computer Science
  • Proficiency in Dutch (minimum B2 level)

Something we consider as an advantage:

  • Experience with Oracle rdms 11/12/19
  • Experience in Scrum

Here are some tasks you can expect:

  • Make sure the applications run accordingly
  • Monitor the systems
  • Provide applicable solutions to incidents and malfunctions
  • Release and install new software
  • Performance and tuning
