What impact you can make

As a Technical Architect, you will be responsible for our customer's technical designs, helping them to master the technical solutions needed to make an implementation successful. You will work closely with the Solution Architect and Technical Consultants in the team, coaching and mentoring the more junior members who will look to you for support.

 

Role and Responsibilities

  • Governance of the relationships between applications, legacy systems, component libraries, content repositories, and supporting databases
  • Preparing and running functional design workshops, crafting design specifications based on out-of-the-box functionality and customer requirements.
  • Providing creative solutions to resolve business problems, technology issues, process and people challenge.
  • Working with the Pre-Sales and Delivery teams to support, validate, and help deliver client presentations, workshops, proof or concept designs, and responses to technical and business inquiries.
  • Hands-on technical delivery of the ServiceNow technical solutions
  • Research systems and/or programs to resolve causes of failure or poor operational performance; then define, test, and implement detailed solutions.
  • Stay ahead of product developments/ releases to a level required for demonstrations and thought leadership.
  • Mentoring and coaching others, as well as sharing standard processes and knowledge.
  • Support the development and growth of the services delivered by ServiceNow practice.

 

Required Skills and Experience

  • Extensive experience in technical solution design and implementation of the ServiceNow application.
  • Knowledge of IT and Enterprise Service Management is critical.
  • Expertise and experience with the ServiceNow toolset is relevant.
  • Experience in multiple application architectures and supporting technologies.
  • Expertise with scripting languages such as JavaScript.
  • Web service proficiency (REST, SOAP) as well as XML and JSON knowledge.
  • Shown management / influencing abilities.
  • Ability to produce documentation at various levels including technical and customer-facing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

We can flex on these, but it would be great if you have:

  • ServiceNow experience in the areas of ITSM, SPM, ITOM, IRM, CSM, or HR products
  • ServiceNow Certifications in all areas
  • Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle)

 

Please note: Candidates must be prepared to travel and visit the office a few times a month. Candidates must have legal authorization to work in The Netherlands and have the Level C1 Dutch speaking/writing.
