We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Dynatrace Observability Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of observability solutions using Dynatrace. You will provide architectural guidance and mentorship to junior consultants, ensuring the successful delivery of projects and high-quality service to our clients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of observability solutions using Dynatrace to monitor and analyse the performance, health, and behaviour of complex systems and applications.
  • Architectural Guidance: Provide expert architectural guidance to align observability solutions with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and propose tailored observability strategies.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and support junior consultants and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Performance Optimization: Conduct performance assessments and optimizations to ensure the reliability and scalability of observability solutions.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including architectural diagrams, design specifications, and operational procedures.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in observability, monitoring, and cloud technologies.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing observability solutions using Dynatrace.
  • Certifications:
    • Required: Dynatrace Professional
    • Preferred: Dynatrace Services Delivery Certification - Observability
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of observability principles, including metrics, logs, and traces.
  • Cloud Proficiency: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with other observability tools and platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Familiarity with ITIL and DevOps practices.

 

Team Structure:

As part of the Dynatrace Observability team, you will join a diverse group of professionals based in the Netherlands, UK & Ireland, and Romania. Our team includes sales, presales, project managers, architects, consultants, data analysts, and engineers, all working together to deliver exceptional observability solutions to our clients.

 

Key Roles within the Team:

  • Sales and Presales Consultants: Engage with clients to understand their needs and propose suitable observability solutions.
  • Project Managers: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of observability projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Architects: Provide architectural guidance and design observability solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Senior Consultants: Lead the implementation and configuration of observability tools, providing mentorship and support to junior team members.
  • Data Analysts: Analyse monitoring data, create dashboards and reports, and provide insights to improve system performance.
  • Engineers: Develop and implement automated scripts and processes to enhance monitoring and integration capabilities.
