Atos already has access to several major public-sector clients through awarded framework agreements.

We are seeking senior Sales Executives to turn that access into growth.

You will build relationships inside complex public-sector organisations, understand where specialist IT capacity is needed and shape demand before a formal request appears. When the opportunity is ready, you will use the relevant framework agreement to place the right Atos specialist or, where appropriate, a complete team.

Our current sellers place an average of 15 IT professionals per quarter. You will have support from recruitment, resource management, delivery teams and specialist partners to find the people your clients need.

We've deliberately left the first account allocation open. We want to hire strong people first, then agree where each person can have the greatest impact. Your portfolio may include Defence, education, central government or several public-sector frameworks.

The role
This is relationship-led sales with a clear execution responsibility.
You will spend time with clients, develop your network and understand upcoming ICT needs. You will also manage the commercial process once a request enters a framework. That includes qualification, candidate selection, pricing, submission and follow-through.
Most opportunities involve placing individual IT specialists. Some require several profiles or a managed-capacity team.

You will:

  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, hiring managers and procurement teams.
  • Develop an outside-in view of client priorities, organisational changes and future skills requirements.
  • Identify demand early and turn client needs into qualified opportunities.
  • Own the commercial relationship for a portfolio of awarded framework agreements.
  • Lead call-offs, mini-competitions, renewals and other framework requests.
  • Work with recruitment and resource teams to identify suitable Atos specialists.
  • Use nearshore teams, subcontractors and specialist partners when required.
  • Coordinate pricing and commercial conditions with the relevant internal teams.
  • Maintain a reliable pipeline and forecast in Salesforce.
  • Stay involved through selection and placement to keep commitments realistic.
  • Grow individual requests into broader client relationships and repeat business.

What the work looks like:

A client may need a cloud architect, cybersecurity specialist, DevOps engineer or data professional at short notice. You clarify the requirement, understand the decision process and organise the response.
Another conversation may start before any request exists. You learn that a department is preparing a modernisation programme, struggling to attract specialist skills or considering a managed-capacity model. You bring the right Atos colleagues into the discussion and develop the opportunity until it can be contracted through an existing framework.
Both parts matter. Strong relationships create access. Disciplined framework execution converts that access into placements.

What you bring:

You have at least 5 years of sales experience with an IT service provider, IT staffing company, or similar professional-services environment.
You understand that public-sector framework business requires patience and speed. Relationships may take time to develop. Once a request is published, deadlines are short, and the response must be accurate.

You also bring:

  • Experience selling IT specialists, professional services, secondment or managed capacity.
  • A good understanding of framework agreements, call-offs and competitive requests.
  • Evidence that you can develop client relationships and create new demand.
  • Commercial ownership of placements, pipeline, margin and forecast.
  • The ability to understand a client requirement and challenge it when needed.
  • Confidence working with recruitment, resource management, delivery and subject-matter experts.
  • Careful execution when deadlines, procurement rules or security requirements apply.
  • Fluent Dutch and English.
  • Experience with Defence, education, central government or another regulated sector is useful. This is not required if you understand complex clients and can quickly learn their environment.
  • Candidates may be asked to complete client-specific screening, depending on the assigned account or project.

What success looks like:

  • During your first year, you will have:
  • Built a working network across your clients and the Atos organisation.
  • Created demand before formal requests are published.
  • Developed a qualified pipeline across your assigned frameworks.
  • Increased the number and quality of submitted candidates.
  • Converted framework access into successful placements.
  • Built repeat business with hiring managers and procurement teams.
  • Maintained accurate opportunity and forecast information.
  • Protected margin while making commitments that delivery teams can meet.

Your working environment:

This is a hybrid, client-facing role.
You should expect to work regularly at client locations across the Netherlands. Building relationships from behind a screen will not be enough. Your schedule will also include working from home and meeting Atos colleagues at our main location in Eindhoven or our hub in Amstelveen.
You will work alongside client executives, recruiters, bid specialists, resource managers, delivery leaders and technical experts. You own the commercial process and bring these people together around each opportunity.
