DUO delivers digital services that people and educational institutions rely on. Those services must remain accessible, secure and dependable while applications, data platforms and infrastructure continue to modernise. At the same time, responsible AI creates opportunities to simplify high-volume processes and improve service delivery — provided that human accountability, data control and security remain explicit.
As a Sales executive, you will turn those challenges into opportunities for practical professional services. You will own and grow the assigned DUO framework business, build trusted client relationships and lead opportunities from early qualification through call-off and delivery handover.
This role combines long-term account development with fast, disciplined execution. One day, you may shape an application-modernisation or data-quality opportunity. Next, you may lead a time-critical framework response and assemble the specialist team needed to deliver it.
Your commercial agenda:
You will connect framework demand to four client priorities:
- Reliable digital public services help maintain continuity, accessibility, and service quality for citizens and educational institutions.
- Application and data modernisation: support secure development, DevOps, testing, application management, and trusted education data platforms.
- Responsible Agentic AI: identify repeatable workflows where automation can improve speed and quality, with clear human oversight and measurable outcomes.
- Digital sovereignty and cybersecurity: help DUO retain appropriate control over sensitive data, applications and operations, with security built in.
The priority is not to sell a technology label. It is to understand the client's problem, qualify the outcome, and bring together the expertise to deliver it.
Your mandate:
- Own the commercial relationship for assigned DUO and education-related framework contracts.
- Build an outside-in account view based on DUO priorities, procurement signals, regulation, service risks and technology shifts.
- Qualify demand early: clarify the client problem, expected outcome, decision process, budget, timing and delivery feasibility.
- Lead mini-competitions, call-offs, proposals, pricing, negotiations, renewals and account growth.
- Shape credible responses with the right mix of Atos and Eviden experts, nearshore teams, subcontractors and specialist partners.
- Bring sales, delivery, bid, resource and pricing teams together early so every commitment is commercially sound and deliverable.
- Manage pipeline, forecast, hit rate, margin and opportunity data accurately in Salesforce.
- Protect client trust through disciplined communication, compliance and dependable follow-through.
Your first-year impact
You will be successful when you have:
- built a trusted network across DUO, Atos delivery teams and relevant partners;
- created a qualified pipeline linked to priority digital service and ICT challenges;
- improved the quality and hit rate of framework responses;
- converted individual requests into broader, repeatable opportunities;
- strengthened Atos’ relevance in application modernisation, responsible AI, digital sovereignty and cyber resilience; and
- maintained forecast accuracy while protecting delivery quality and margin.
What you need:
- At least five years of experience in professional services, IT staffing, framework sales or managed capacity.
- A record of working with complex procurement and competitive framework responses.
- Commercial ownership of pipeline, order entry, hit rate, margin and forecasting.
- Consultative selling skills: you listen, sharpen the question, challenge assumptions and turn demand into a practical response.
- The ability to build trusted relationships while actively creating new demand.
- Calm execution under short deadlines, with close attention to detail and compliance.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, and based in the Netherlands or willing to relocate.
Useful, but not essential:
Experience with DUO, education, central government or another regulated sector.
Exposure to application modernisation, Data & AI, digital sovereignty or cybersecurity.
Familiarity with public-sector call-offs, mini-competitions and renewals.

You will work in a multidisciplinary public-sector account environment, alongside client executives, bid specialists, delivery leaders and subject-matter experts. You will own the commercial process and bring the wider team together to shape, price and deliver each opportunity.
