About the Role
We are looking for a Medior Scrum Master to join our growing Agile and DevOps practice. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional DevOps teams and public sector clients, helping teams embrace Agile principles and continuously improve their ways of working.
As a Scrum Master, you will act as a coach and facilitator rather than a traditional manager, guiding teams through Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
You will work with long-term customer engagements, primarily within government and public sector environments, supporting multiple Agile teams and helping organizations deliver high-quality IT services and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach and support Agile and DevOps teams in Scrum best practices
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions
- Help teams improve collaboration, productivity, and Agile maturity
- Identify and remove impediments that impact team performance
- Promote Agile values, transparency, and continuous improvement
- Support Product Owners and stakeholders in maximizing team effectiveness
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Monitor team performance and drive continuous process improvements
- Support multiple Scrum teams when required
- Contribute to organizational Agile transformation initiatives
- Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to ensure long-term success
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments
- Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certification or equivalent
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum principles
- Experience coaching Agile and/or DevOps teams
- Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and Agile processes
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working within government or public sector environments
- Ability to influence and coach teams without direct authority
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and people-focused mindset
- Fluent Dutch and English language skills
- Must be eligible to work in the Netherlands and able to pass government-related security screening requirements
