Your role as a Network Architect @Atos
We are looking for a Network Architect to work on customer projects for a broad variety of clients. This position provides you with autonomy, flexibility and of course enough challenges to learn and develop your professional as well your personal skills. Your work location will be mainly on customer premises. NL citizen and language is mandatory.

 

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for designing computer networks, LAN networks
  • Working towards completing architecture/design and implementation of network deployments
  • Overall responsible for part of the shared network services
  • Creating high level and detailed designs.
  • Engage with customers to understand their business challenges and requirements and help the customer’s design & implement new methodologies and IT service frameworks and maximize the business around network portfolio.
  • Keeping architectural records and proposing / substantiating (business case) improvements / new functionalities
  • Drawing up and update technical frameworks / blueprints for network infrastructure services such as switching/routing and firewalling
     

Skills we’d like you to have:

  • Knowledge on networking technologies IPv4 and IPv6 networks, LAN, Software Defined Networking and Intent-based networking
  • Knowledge on routing protocols such as OSFP, EIGRP, BGP and MPLS VPN technologies.
  • In depth knowledge of Cisco and Extreme Networks products and related technologies.
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
  • Prior work experience in a consulting/architecture position within software & services company
  • Takes ownership and shows commitment, team player with an open mind and positive attitude
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication. Work with business and technology stakeholders and translate business problems in technical designs
  • Certifications in Cisco and Extreme Networks technologies
  • Key interest and knowledge in (network) automation and software development tools like Python, Ansible and Git.
