We are seeking a motivated and skilled Medior Dynatrace Observability Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will assist in implementing and managing observability solutions using Dynatrace, while collaborating with senior consultants and architects to deliver high-quality services to our clients. This position is ideal for someone looking to advance their career in observability and consultancy.
Team Structure
As part of the Dynatrace Observability team, you will join a diverse group of professionals based in the Netherlands, UK & Ireland, and Romania. Our team includes sales, presales, project managers, architects, consultants, data analysts, and engineers, all working together to deliver exceptional observability solutions to our clients.
Key Roles within the Team
- Sales and Presales Consultants: Engage with clients to understand their needs and propose suitable observability solutions.
- Project Managers: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of observability projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Architects: Provide architectural guidance and design observability solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Senior Consultants: Lead the implementation and configuration of observability tools, providing mentorship and support to junior team members.
- Data Analysts: Analyse monitoring data, create dashboards and reports, and provide insights to improve system performance.
- Engineers: Develop and implement automated scripts and processes to enhance monitoring and integration capabilities.
Role and Responsibilities
- Implementation: Assist in the design and implementation of observability solutions using Dynatrace to monitor and analyse the performance and health of applications and systems.
- Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored observability solutions that meet their needs.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects and data analysts, to develop comprehensive monitoring strategies and plans.
- Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for observability tools, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Documentation: Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation, including operational procedures and monitoring guidelines.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in observability, monitoring, and cloud technologies to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Required Skills and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in implementing observability solutions, preferably with Dynatrace.
- Certifications:
- Required: Dynatrace Platform Associate
- Preferred: Dynatrace Platform Advanced Observability Specialist, Dynatrace Professional
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with observability principles, including metrics, logs, and traces.
- Cloud Knowledge: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Communication: Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with other observability tools and platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Basic knowledge of scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Familiarity with ITIL and DevOps practices.
- Level C1 Dutch speaking/writing
- Must have legal authorization to work in the The Netherlands.
